Stolen was the lamp of survival,
Expectation was recently bribed away,
All they see is the fusion,
Of the past, the present and the future into one

From the hole of their existence,
Loud is the echo of wailing
Tomorrow was buried yesterday
Today is taking its last breaths.

The winds, their voices lend to the requiem
A disquieting dirge from desolate souls,
The robbers of hope all could hear,
But they really do not care.
